Looks like your Aircraft Registration # is also missing, and showing a horizontal white Rectangle on the Instrument Panel ?
is there a way to restore it?

With jay Dee’s Mod to add GTN750 (latest version SU#5 Compatible)
I cannot even get the GTN750 to start, but the GTN750 3D panel does work.
I do not normally use jay Dee’s Mod, maybe that is not the correct way to get the GTN750 into a DA60 ?
The documentation with my version dated 12 August (v 2.0.5) gives a link to a download for the DA62 to use the 750 as a replacement for the G1000. I have not installed it to test it as I just use the pop up gtn 750 instead.
The DA62 package has been updated to v 1.0.1. Download it again from Aircrafts
Thanks PMS50 … Seems jay Dee’s Mod is not the way to go …
Installed the one from PMS50 website, and all works as expected ( of course )
Everything works great now thx
Apologies if this has been asked before but I could not find the answer anywhere.
I’m using the GTN750 with the Piper Arrow IV but I cannot figure out how to turn the GTN750 off.
The piper doesn’t come with an Avionics switch so the GTN750 turns on when you switch on the battery.
The only way to turn it off seems to be to turn off the battery or pop out the Instruments circuit breaker.
Am I missing something? Is there an ON / OFF button on the unit?
No, there is no power on/off button.
If what you are trying to do is actually reset/restart the gtn750, rather than just switch it off entirely, there is an option to do that under System Options.
great news
Congratulations for this impressive gauge!
The paid version is still a bit too expensive for me but the free version is wonderful and use it in almost every flight in the Carenado Mooney M20.

Can we get Radio Station Identification on Nav Standby and on COM’s COM & Standby
ie Like the Real World Unit pictured below
No sim variable to get this information, only available for the current active NAV.
LOL – I did not say it would be “EASY” – like just getting a readily available sim variable.
Just like getting the Airport ICAO code fro a given VOR freq !!
But, elsewhere the data is available –
ie
It would be great if ASOBO returned these needed simvars so that they could be easily displayed, specifically in a GPS system, but to do so they would have to code up some searches.
The same could be done in JS, and some generated structure, from which the required data could be searched for …
Total PITA … for each Garmin Dev to have to do that.
If ASOBO / MS is serious about making this a Simulator, and not just a game, and WT are also serious about 1:1 Garmins, then these sort of Simvars are needed
Then , there is the whole issue of a GPS, Not being a Nav Receiver,
------ and therefore being able to obtain info on Radio stations that the Nav radio has been programmed to say are “out of range”, and thus for example, can not obtain the data for a Nav station “out of range”, even though it falls in the Range and Max # criteria that the GPS is meant to display info for …
etc etc etc …
Need un-dumbing down for the 2020’s Generation of “Flight Simulators”
Just as a follow up to this issue I had (black screens on the 430 & 530) I think it was because I was still using a beta key for the 750 mod. I didn’t realise it had come out of beta so had not updated my key
I have since bought the premium key (I rarely use the 750 so I was thinking of just using the free version, but I really respect the development done on these mods and wanted to support it!) and deleted my old key and re-registered and now the issue is resolved.
Just thought I would follow this up in case anybody else experiences the same.
I’m using the 750 in the default MSFS C172 (steam gauges) and the 650 in the MSFS PMDG DC6. I am unable to get the OBS to work in either aircraft. Turning the RH knob does nothing and the OBS line on the map is stuck on the heading to the next, OBS selected, WP. I’m using JD’s files to adapt the GPS’s for each aircraft.
I think the GPS version is 2.05, the latest as of today’s date.
As a comparison, I also have the 750 loaded, with JD’s aircraft specific files, in the C208 & SR22 and the OBS works ok in both.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
We don’t provide support for these aircrafts since they are not supported on our side.
Cessna 208 is not supported?
