I had a really enjoyable early morning flight today, taking off from Innsbruck in winter time. Performance was ok. 60 fps with frame generation (120 fps with Lossless Scaling)
4k HDR, TLOD 400, DLSS balanced. 10900k, 3090, 32 gb.
The snow did a good job covering the blurry aerials, and the lighting looks great.
The EFB still won’t load a flightplan correctly though, but luckily the gliding community created an app to work around that.
I’m hoping the SU4 beta starts soon and addresses the most crucial bugs, mentioned in The state of gliding in MSFS 2024 , which currently prevent us from using 2024 for group flights, as well as the blurry aerials/poor LOD quality.
Another year of bug fixes and general quality of life improvements and 2024 will be the upgrade from 2020 we’ve all hoped for.
