Yes. I guess you’re right with your comment regarding setting up the thing manually.
It was a bit tedious but that didn’t bother me much.
I wasn’t as fussy about it as some would be.
The result that I have is not perfect, as you can see in my picture.
What I have finished up with looks a lot less “imperfect” than it did when I had 7 monitors set up in a circle around me.
“If you’re stopped on the ground facing the runway running left-right in front of you, does it appear to be completely straight from your POV looking left and right, or is it curved?”
Sitting in the pilot’s seat, the horizon looks straight and the lines of perspective looking left and right are good too.
I measure “immersivity” by the number of people that have had to stop flying because they induced oscillations with control inputs that got them airsick.
Others have been over-awed by the experience and have reported having sweaty palms.
I never saw anything like that happen with my circle of monitors.
I think that maybe Fly Elise-ng Immersive Display Pro might have had a few updates since you did it because the setup method that I went through doesn’t sound as complicated as you yours was.
