How much did that cost you? Curious

The dash panel frame, complete dash, or sim?

Curious what seat youā€™re using there? It looks very comfortable, yet sturdy!

Very simple-mainly because on Xbox not a lot of hardware can be bought

The whole cockpit

Deep into five figures (no decimal point). I also have a auto racing setup for it I used for years as well so a lot of cost with that too.

Looks great but wondering, how warm do you get with those three monitors, baring in mind that all larger screens emit some heat?

Funny you mention thatā€¦ Itā€™s actually not bad at all since the top is open. I did a test before I decided to enclose the top or not by throwing a tapestry over the top, THEN it got pretty warm! I have a small fan that I turn on if needed that kinda sits on the floor behind me to circulate air which isnā€™t bad. My cousin who constructed this whole thing is going to fabricate some venting system to get some airflow in there. Ill have to post an updated pic once thatā€™s in.

Needs lumbar support imho, but itā€™s the only one Iā€™ve tried. They probably all need it.

Open Wheeler Racing Seat from Amazon

What about the frame that the seat is sitting on? This is probably the hardest piece of kit to decide on in my own design.

Thanks for the info, very much appreciated!

Itā€™s an H6 platform from DOF Reality. Pricy, and not the smoothest if Iā€™m being honest, but I flew the other day with motion disabled, and I hated it. I will say one of the coolest additions was the Buttkicker. If you donā€™t go full-motion, I highly recommend one of those.

I thought this was supposed to be a place where people could post pictures of their sim. It seems to be moving more towards discussions of peripherals which has it own sub forum. What is going on??? Just curiousā€¦

Yes FLIGHTJOX, last picture 5 days ago.

The next evolution of my cockpit! Itā€™s been through a lot of changes as of late.

I had been previously running on my 34" UWQHD monitor. Now Iā€™m using a 50" TV.

The 15.6" touch screens were replaced with 22" touch screens, and one of the 15.6" screens is now sitting on top of the Honeycomb boxes to the lower right and being used as a pedestal. A proper mount will be built for that monitor next so itā€™s held up at a bit of an angle for better usability.

Iā€™ve ditched the flight stand and Iā€™m not using a much better table for the whole setup. The Honeycomb peripherals are attached to the underside of the table for much better usability.

And of course, still running Air Manager on my touch screens to control my planesā€™ various switches and dials via the touch screens and a pair of home-made Knobsters.

This is my layout for the ever love C172 G1000 using the Simstrumentation G1000 NXi bezels and master switch panel I built.

Snap for the yoke and pedal combo. Great choice if I do say so myself.

So far loving the fulcrum. Moved up from the Alpha, which is also a great yoke. The Fulcrum in my opinion is just better.
