- Post Your Cockpit Pictures Here -

Here’s my latest configuration. GT Track rig with a motion plus and HF8 system fitted. Furry Co-Pilot was an optional extra.

Nicely done, you must have taken the photographs during the “dog days of summer”. Congrats

My

My 2 cents on the Cockpit subject. Not much but it´s given me a lot of “happy landings”…!
Hope you like it.

New panel for my pedestal. I have now completely removed the Thrustmaster TCA kit from my setup.

The flaps and speedbrake controls here (which are back-lit) are re-purposed from my old Throttletek Flightbox. Easy enough to do with a Bodnar card replacing the electronics. The parking brake is a pull-and-turn mechanism rather than the rotate-only switch I had before. It’s very noisy - I don’t know if the real thing is that loud. Got that from simparts.de, although that frankly is a saga all in itself, and not a good one.

I had intended to re-use the back-lit parking brake panel from the Flightbox here, and I had prepped the back-lighting, but there’s not enough height on the shaft that holds the parking brake handle, and to add more height I’d have had to fabricate a new brass rod and replace the one in the existing mechanism. Too much work, and beyond my DIY skills, so I used a printed label instead.

Finally, there’s a pair of Streamdeck Minis that can be configured for whatever random controls I want on the pedestal. I had a single Mini in my previous layout, but it was too far back to be convenient to use or see, because the panel length was dictated by the length of the TCA speedbrake / flap units. The new assembly is much smaller, so I could move everything up nearer to me including the Streamdecks.

Before:

and now:

With the panel being overall shorter, rather than leave blank space I decided to add in a pocket for checklists, manuals etc. All in all, I’m quite happy with this one, although I’m not 100% happy with the bezels around the Streamdecks. It’s 4mm thick (in height) and that’s too much. I might 3D print a new, low-profile bezel instead. Time to bone up on Fusion 360.

Hi Mike
So nice to see your cockpit here. I do love watching you almost every night flying that monster. I´m not a 737 lover but I´m slowly getting there, thanks to you.

Latest cockpit update…

Still work in progress
But since last week i started to reconfigure my home style customable cockpit
This was former last setup running on 7 screens

And this is the new running on 10 screens and one 4k beamer and made a combination
out of them.

Still have to tweak them and add my periphals but already happy with the result
Running on 2 pc and 3 graphicscards (1x 3090 and 2x 3060 ti)
Also i will use ir track on the two pc’s to look around each with different setting and 1 headset
So they move at the same time.
2pc connect together with either, your controls and or wideview (i prefer your control atm)
The screens in my possession i got at work and saved them from the bin where they waited to get destroyed so i gave them a second life.
Also i re used my former former setup which i had running since 2004 sim on beamer
Added matrox tripplehead2go
Easy flexible cockpit setup for different and all kind of planes

Now the project has reached the point where i can add track ir on my two pc setup.

Hi. Here is my setup. Thinking of adding a seperate small screen for navigation.

Nice setup.

How is that ultra wide screen working for you?

I am contemplating on swapping my 3 monitors for one of those to help with frame rate.
That’s a cheaper option than building a new rig.
