The big powerful engines of WW2, there’s nothing like it.

This is true, I particularly like the sound of the big radials or that rumble with a unique compressor whistle of the DB inverted V12s though the Merlin sound has it’s appeal.

My first ever flight in FS2020 I made sure was memorable for me. YTYA Tyabb is where my aviation career began with Peninsula Aero Club, with a quick flight via Carrum to YMMB Moorabbin airport, Melbourne VIC

I’ve done a lot of flying in the back country of Western Australia too. This is north of YMOG Mount Magnet in the Royal Aero Club of WA’s C172R VH-RWT.

Flying around Mount Gambier in SA’s South East I realised that YCTN Casterton airport wasn’t even marked in the sim, even though the runway was there. So I decided to make it!

Also made VH-TNV in some of the shots above, which is a nice looking C152 based at Tyabb.

Here is the Qantas Historical Museum at Longreach Queensland where QANTAS (Qantas and Northern Territories Air Services began) Qantas also named their 747-400ERS Longreach too, because they could fly so far.
