One of my grandmothers worked as a riveter, building the horizontal tail assemblies for Skyraiders in the 1950s, while working for a Douglas sub-contractor in Reno, Nevada, and she was always very proud to be associated with the type. As a result, the Skyraider was always a prominent fixture in my family, growing up. In the last couple days I finally found time to acquire and test out the Miltech Skyraider, and here are some screenshots I’ve collected so-far, flying from La Ferte Alais, France. I’ve had a few successful flights, so-far, and one that wasn’t so successful (hence the forced-landing shot).
