Quest 2 VR Looks Flat Now!

I’m also on my fifties and have various eyes problems, but I didn’t notified recently a change in my 3D perception in MSFS. The way all VR headset work don’t apply a change in focus between outside scenery and looking at instrument, the eye strains is exactly the same as our eyes focus on the same screen at exactly the same distance. For example in my Oculus Rift CV1 the simulated distance is around 1,5m. So if I can see clear at such distance (E.g. without glasses) in real life I’ll be able to see clear in my headset whatever things I’m looking at whatever distance. All will be at 1,5m for my eyes, and it’s just the brain which is tricked due to the 3D parallax effect.
This is not like real life where our focus need to adapt following distance. Saying that, headset builder work on similar technology to mimic the real behavior (vary focal, several screen at different deep, etc.).
Like I said this problem can occurs if you (through headset hardware or software IPD settings, or glasses change) or MSFS devs change the way IPD are managed. If they decide for example to set a fixed IPD of, let’s say, 64mm, and ignore the headset parameters, some persons will see the World too small, or nearest, and other will see it to big. Only person with IPD equal to 64 will see it at it’s good size (relative to real life).
