I finally took the 737-700 out of the hangar again, and did a full flight from Tokyo to Nagasaki. It was all going well, despite the 150 knot headwind! At my destination I had to do a go around and that’s when things didn’t go so well.
While I was using the FMC to get set up for the new approach everything in the cockpit froze. All instruments and animations just gone, inside and out, which also included lowering the flaps and gear again. The only way to finish the flight was going to Developer Mode, reloading the aircraft and quickly loading the Approach flight state from the FMC. Then I had to set up the essentials for the landing again as well. Of course the whole playload and fuel levels were all wrong now too. I wish it had gone better, because the flight was very enjoyable until that bug happened.
