Realistic Dangerous Weather - Physics Simulation

This quote is from the FSEXPO2023 presentation:

I don’t know the fine details of where the weather is calculated (Does anyone know the answer to this?), but if it’s currently on the mainthread, this move will free up performance headroom for more complex weather calculations or even open to door to running the weather on a seperate core too.

If the weather is bundled in with ‘physics’, it’s again going to be moved to it’s own core, freeing up more performance headroom.

Whatever way we look at it, there are going to be engine improvements in MSFS2024 which will increase performance and remove any current ‘limit’!
