Can confirm the issue can be overridden when using a mouse. Navigating via the Xbox controller D-pad will skip over the same options/settings that the Xbox cursor will. In other words, navigating via D-pad faces the same bug.

I canât select the VFR dropdown menu on the world map. The cursor either selects the search bar or the aircraft menu (canât use d-pad either because it never selects it.

Same thing goes for the Nav menu. Iâve tried changing the interface scale in the accessibility menu to make the buttons larger but it doesnât work.
This bug also exists on PC when using an Xbox controller with a PC as you would do on an Xbox.
Pair an Xbox controller to a PC and attempt to use the controller in lieu of a mouse for navigating the UI and you will see the issues as described here.

I just installed Beta 2 and I am not having any issues with the world Map IFR/VFR settings. No issues with the NavLog button as well. Tested with a flight from CYOO to CYOW on PC.
Same but I donât know how to report it and it doesnât let me push others pages
Unless you are using an Xbox controller as a mouse, you will not see the issue.
So how long will they will fix this?
Seeing as I do not work for Asobo nor do I work for Microsoft, I have absolutely no idea!

It should be a simple hotfix all Xbox users will need a mouse in the mean time to create a flight plan.

Brief description of the issue:
Following the latest update, Iâm no longer able to select IFR flight plan option in the World Map menu. When trying to hover the cursor over it, keeps on redirecting to Aircraft selection. Have tried to restart both the sim and console multiple times, deleted the roaming cache and also tried to move the cursor as slowly as possible but issue still persists. Unable to do any IFR flights until this issue gets resolved.

If you got a usb wired/wireless mouse this works for now for xbox
Hopefully they will fix this problem sooner
The same issue occur to me on World Map. Cannot click on flight tipes ir Navigation log. Cursor invades the Aircraft option and the flight conditions option forcing mento click on these accidentally.
Yeah this happened after beta 2 patch should have been hotfixed by now game breaker unless you have a mouse at hand.also effects menus in flight atc,weather etc
