About the event
Flight operations will be run out of Fighter Town USA Mirimar KNKX (Top Gun). Any military or civilian jet (military preferred) can be used as well as V22 Osprey and CH47 Chinook.
We will run individual sorties which will be dispatched on COMMS during the operation. You may be asked to escort, intercept, provide air cover, (Chinook) pickup or deliver to other airfields, carriers and/or amphib ships .
You may be flying with a wingman, in a group, or solo. As you complete your sortie, you will be dispatched on your next.
There will be a tanker available for in flight fueling.
Take-off is at 2000 UTC.
The operation will be about 2.5 hours long and we will take a short break.
Jump in when you want to, jump out when you want!
RECOMMENDED AIRCRAFT:
Any military or civilian jet or chopper capable of 180+ Kts.
Please post what aircraft(s) (you can switch anytime) you intend to fly below, so we will know how to dispatch you. Also if you are using a Miltech Carrier or Amphib Group add on please list that as well.
This is an XBox friendly flight and though not necessary to enhance your visuals you may choose to download the following freeware or payware.
Other Information
Voice channel will be necessary for comms between Ops and Pilots. Please use push to talk so we don’t have background noise. Discord
