I was pushing for this hard. Even asked a question about it (see #4 top voted question on the Q&A questions list). They misunderstood it and talked about how they have people updating airports if you submit a bug report. That’s not what we’re asking for 
What we really need is the ability to edit default airports at this point. Then we can talk about the distribution of updated taxiway names and layouts.
