Same problem. i9-10980XE, 128GB RAM, RTX3090. CTD loading at 87%. If I reduce the cores using msconfig from 36 to 6 it loads. The latest update didn’t fix it. I thought the new ground up rewrite was supposed to make it use all the cores better, rather than just ignoring them as happens with 2020.
FYI MS just put out a major windows update. It will reset your processor counts to the default and again, crash MSFS2024. You will need to go in and set below 32 cores again.
@Jummivana Hello - I am just curious if you had a status update regarding this bug. I did not see it put on the list of known issues known to the developers and do not see it on the bug tracker yet. Thank you for your assistance.
