I don’t fly GA so I can’t comment on that. It used to work really nicely w/ the A320 Stock and A32nx if you made sure none of the switches were in always on position.
Since the fix, it’s limited to 1 increment per rotary click. Rotary encoders basically act like a switch which pushed over and over when you turn the dial.

I guess it doesn’t effect many people so it’s just not a big deal.
