Mine is also now broken. To get a single flight I have to delete the programme and then reinstall. After that one flight out gets stuck when I press the start flight button. Am so disappointed with this programme, it’s turning into an utter nightmare for me. Am going to go back to 2020 it was a much better programme and it worked. I can’t stand the walk around bit it detracts from the flying.
I found the fix, it seems that the layout.json somehow gets corrupted, even though the scenery worked before or works in FS2020. Use the MSFSLayout generator to update the layout.json of every file (both scenery and livery) in your community folder.

I havent been able to fly at all cause this happens every time i click start flight. This sim is a joke.
I can resonate with this. Had a very frustrating weekend due to this issue.

The sim loaded in instantly after regenerating layout.json for the scenery.
This sim is ridiculous, I’ve never seen anything like this.

Try this - before flight switch to Window Mode. Start flight. In my case it resolved my problem. After loading scenery try to switch to full screen and resume flight. NEXT time you can start flight in full screen without aby problems.
I checked and I confirm. The reason is the photo filter mode in nvidia app. After turning it off, everything returns to normal
Been having the same issue, clean install of FS2024, community folder is completely empty, nvidia overlay is turned off. Tried re-installing and it’s still not working
ditto, still cant get past the map in any mode
this is a major issue in the sim, mostly happening in PG areas. So annoying as none of the possible workarounds work. SU1 beta is not different.

I have this issue after 400 hours of career mode. Never have seen this.Maybe a problem related to the problems microsoft had with its services atm.
Using Keyboad CTRL+ENTER works for me. Don’t aks why
What do you mean CTRL-ENTER? It dosent do anything for me..
The Button Fly now is labled CTRL+ENTER. This may depends on the Language. In my case it is German. Maybe it’s ENTER for you.
Zoom in and wait 30 seconds or set Terrain LOD to 10 load in then crank it back up to what you normally use.
