If you close it, you will be again at 97%
I have the same issue. Looks like it would be best to shut down the install and wait for an update of some sort.

I got stuck at 97% twice and now on my third reboot Iām stuck at 0%.

EDIT: got stuck at 97%, quit (and rebooted for good measure).
Started the sim again, now stuck at 0%, well that erm progressā¦

In my case the initial loading was also stuck at 97% for a very long time. After both restarting the sim and rebooting, it now seems to be stuck at 0%.

It never ceases to amaze me how companies hype a release date only to be bogged down like this. Thanks for the endlessly looping movie to just use unneeded power. Too bad thereās no activity on the NETWORK side of task manager. Thanks Microsoft!!!

Hello fellow frustrated flyers. .18:44 (GMT) on my third attempt to load this thing and yep 97% is all I get. As stated in a previous post, The Sky is not the limit, in fact the ground isnāt even the limit. 97% is the limit. Now thereās a logo for a T shirt 
All those who bought in advance have the right to wear it . Going to watch paint dry now as it is more entertaining.

Same thing 97% stuck loading.
After nearly 3 hours, Ive had enough.
Also stuck here. Stupidly followed the recommendation in a different post to exit out at 97%, reboot and now just have 0% then āError Server issue detectedā.
Considering the cost of this title, really not a great first impression.

Ah, the joys of modern technology! I even upgraded to a 9800X3D and splurged on 2.9 Gbps internet just to avoid moments like thisā¦ yet here we are. 
Spent all that time prepping for smooth sailing, and instead, Iām staring at 97% like itās a new feature. Guess patience is the real next-gen upgrade.
