HUGHES 500C is now available on the Marketplace, I just got it and I immediately fell in love with it. Fantastic product, in my opinion, this is the best helicopter available for MSFS 24. Even though I play with Xbox Wireless Controller and not HOTAS and for this reason I canât fully experience all the joy of flying, but this is probably the first helicopter model Iâve flown that actually feels like it has mass and inertia. Itâs hard for me to describe, you should definitely try it! I just canât stop flying it.
And I want to point out that Taogâs Hangar helicopters are generally very well adapted to the gamepad, for example, their trim is always well calibrated, and this model is no exception, so gamepad players will be happy. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Jumped in when I read your post and bought it!
And first lift off was likeâŠ. Naaah, but ones up to speed good but pulling constantly up/right.
I never use trim but that fixed it! Super straight flying now!
Very week antitorque though and hovering is kinda strange and antitorque isnt behaving like I am used too.
But I like it!
The things I have a bit of a problem with in behaviour is basically msfs2924 FM stuff, but its nice!
Going to fly this a lot! That is for sure!

Update: been flying some more and oh boy is this a fantastic bird to throw around and really just FLY!! I absolutely love it!!

This is absolutely the best helo in the game IMHO (and I have them all, including Taogâs 3 others), noticeably unique flight model for 2024, incredible sounds that change with flight situation, amazing textures. Big winner all around.

Yesterday I flew the P500C for more than three hours straight, I just couldnât stop, and only confirmed my initial impression - what a machine! And how well it is implemented by Taogâs Hangar, the developer has obviously raised the bar with this release, I only hope that other helicopter model developers will follow the same path.

I also highly recommend setting up the Force Release Trim button if you havenât already. Itâs oddly unassigned by default in some configurations, and enabling FTR makes helicopter stabilization much easier.

Since never using trim on helis before I had to try a couple of other helis to see how much difference it makes and it makes a LOT of difference!
