fixed it… lol

Beautiful plane but I prefer the 2006 with the retractable wheels.

Wow, I didn’t realize the 2012 has fixed gear. Seems an odd choice for a modern AC primarily designed for a Massachusetts commuter airline.

EDIT: Just read that this was done for reduced complexity and to remove wing spar impact for more cycles.

Yeah I forwarded my post on FSS’s website and asked them to please look into it as I do not know if they trawl the forums. Just now I had the first problem with the autopilot not staying on and I cannot figure out why. But flying is so relaxed that I easily completed the flight. I am looking forward to the upcoming patch(es)
Compared to the FSR that I also really like this feels like it has inertia and an actual weight behind it. Making it way more predictable and enjoyable to handfly.

I know I am totally fangirling about it, but I really love the plane. Here is my view at the moment. Excuse the picture quality and the fingerprints on the Bravo. Also I cannot get the camera to get really the same view I have. The MFD is on a second touch screen to the right on the bravo. It is all aligned that it looks like 1:1 in size, yoke and PFD that is when in my normal seating position with Track IR on. I just love that I do not need a mouse for anything since virtually all is bindable. I am having a great time with this addon.

The size (as in the world feels right in size) and ease of controls makes spot landings soo much easier. I have a lot of trouble with a lot of the “squirrely” models to the point that I cannot consitently hit touchdown zones. That is not the case here. Feels way more like a real plane than a lot of other mods. Fuel Flow, Ballooning and Performance. When these are dialed in, I might be tempted to finally get a bodnar board and building

what application do you use to control the PFD?
thx. m

PFD (and MFD) are Air Manager default panels. There the popped out MSFS panels are moved to. It is the bezel with all the buttons functional on two touch screens. I have one knobster that is also from Air Manager producers. This is a push/two stage turn knob that works with their products. Push buttons I can use directly on the touch screens and all the turning knobs I select and manipulate with the knobster. Is that what you wanted to know? Also in these pictures I selected the wrong profile in Air Manager. Usually I have a black border on the outside of the panel so you cannot see the desktop on the touch screens.

disclaimer: These are not affiliate links or anything, just for ease of finding the products used. I did not order my touch screens from magedok directly but from amazon on a sale. I selected these screens because of the combination of resolution and capability to be usb driven for power thus reducing the cable load. A powerful enough usb hub is mandatory though.

:+1: Yes, thank you for your reply. I have a better overview.

Wondered if anyone has both Tecnam 2006 and 2012 and could comment as to which one may be the better buy in terms of better systems, visual quality, fun to fly?

I own both the P2006 and the P2012.

In some respects the two aircraft are very similar, for example in the walk-around or in the cockpit equipment (navionics etc.). In other respects they are very different. If only because the P2012 is the larger and heavier aircraft and is ultimately somewhat more complex due to its two engines.

For me, the P2012 is more fun because it corresponds 100% to my way of flying, ehm, simulating.

If I could only buy one of the two and had to decide which one it was, it would be the P2012.

Happy landings!

Thankyou.Much appreciated.Does the 2022 have a longer range and fly faster or higher?

I just updated mine through the Aerosoft One app, although the manifest.json says v1.0.1. I changed mine to match the declared version release.

Hmmm. My Aerosoft One doesn’t show the update yet, @tclayton2k. Just mentioning that because your manifest showed an earlier version.

Unless there was a 1.0.1 released earlier that I didn’t hear about… You may be right - I may just have an earlier update that I never downloaded. I’ll keep checking.

Edit: Yep - looks like 1.0.1 is correct on my system. I’ll keep waiting for the 1.0.2 update.

Did anyone bind the master battery in spad.next, tried as the manual says and nothing

Yes. It’s doesn’t work per the manual. Not at my sim PC right now but from memory you have to use one of the electrical system events directly in v.1.0.1.

Was the fuel flow addressed ?
