I just recently started getting the error. Posted about it in another thread here, near the end:
Really strange. My setup has been running perfectly and I haven’t changed anything.
Started to get the error out of nowhere. Noticed that if I pop-out a Glass Cockpit display using “right-ALT key and a left mouse click”, I get this failure. Repeatable. This, and resizing a popped-out window are the only thing causing it.
ALL temps are low, and if I don’t pop out a display, I can run for hours in an airliner at heavy airports… LAX, JFK, etc. But, immediately when I pop-out a PFD for example, I get the error.
It’s interesting that your “trigger” involves window placement so that is similar to what I’m seeing. Please try popping-out a screen in a Glass Cockpit to see what happens. Also, are you running DX12?
It was suggested in the other thread to underclock the GPU but I haven’t been able to get the settings saved when I try. That’s another mystery on my end.
