Just did a bit of flying with custom weather, wind set to 10G20. Did a flapless approach at 80kts in DA40 (would normally fly the approach at 75 and flaps fully extended). The gusts on approach were so strong that the stall horn came on on multiple ocassions on approach and I had to add full power several times to prevent stalling, only to see myself propelled upwards as the gust subsided. Stalling speed in DA40 is ~60kts in clean configuration.
Looked at the weather wind chart. Wind went from 0 to 40 kts. Devs, this is not what 10G20 means. 10G20 means wind is normally 10 but can reach as high as 20 (not 40, not sure how this even works!).
