A moderator colleague has pointed out to me that there is actually a bug topic about this:
which points out that 3 headphone key bindings exist, but have not been implemented.
Since this feature exists in MSFS, this wish is not needed, so has been closed. Feel free to vote & add comments to the bug topic.
