Upgrade to 3080ti, insane core frequency?

,

I use the gig 3080TI oc version. Ever since I plugged her in with the i9 11900k I have had zero stutters. Something about the 3080ti had eradicated the stutters completely in the sim. 27th should make it even better. No issues in sim now at all. I fly vr only.

I have EVGA 3080 FTW3 which is clocked high stock, and I run a modest OC on it (whatever auto overclock scanner has suggested: +200 memory, +101 core, 450W OC bios with maxed out allowance for power and voltage) and it boosts to 1940 and stays there, temps max out at 71. So that’s normal.

Gigabyte Aorus 3080 Ti Master here and I can get autoclocks boosting into 2010 figures! Guess I got really really lucky on the production bin! :grinning:
Oh yeah and temps at about 65-66ºC

Oh ■■■■ just hit 2025

Word of caution: I can run mine much higher than 1940mHz and pass stress tests and get higher benchmark scores, however in MSFS I get more stutters a performance that seems worse and less stable and more chances of a CTD. I found that the only safe OC is the one the EVGA auto-tuner suggested after a scan.

I have a Titan Xp that runs MSFS in VR better without any over clocking than when its over clocked. No idea why, not the same in X-Plane 11.

Give it 105% power, It can take it.

It’s normal. My 3080ti msi x gaming trio can reach 2025. Undervolt and overclock is a good thing if you want to spend some time playing with Afterburner.

Mine is currently set at 1980hz .931v (curve) 58c stable temp, max power and volts. +500mem. Watercooled.
