Leg 8: Yellowstone Regional, WY to Hot Springs Co., WY 95NM ETE 0:45 MIN
After a long hiatus, the journey resumes with a wintry and windy hop from Yellowstone Regional to Hot Springs near Themopolis, WY.
Yellowstone was definitely locked into a hard Midwest Winter, but along the way, signs of green and thawing peeked their way through the terrain.
However those views were few and far in-between as a fairly low cloudbase around 8,000’ and strong cells surrounded the route. I managed to stay on the Route but Hot Springs was really socked in. I used the RNAV23 with the town of Worland as the transition.
