This addon is BY FAR the best $7 (on sale) I have EVER spent on MSFS.
Although I’m not interested in the KA-10M, it is the “secret” World Carriers mod within it that provides an overwhelmingly enhanced naval aviation experience for me. The embedded “clandestine” mod works with the freeware Jaystrike World Carriers mod too!
I just bought this addon yesterday. The helicopter that’s included is a bonus. If I had known it had this Carrier mod secretly under its “Hat”, I would have bought it a long time ago - at FULL price!
Update next week, gonna get even better!
funny, i feel the exact opposite: i bought the helo because i enjoy the helo, and couldnt care less about the ships
id like to see more kamov helos such as a ka-26 rather than more ships to each their own
Hello, everyone! After a huge delay, new update 2.7.0 has been finished and released on SimMarket and our website. It was sent for approval to Marketplace team and should be released there next Thursday.

Ka10M fixes:
Oil and fuel pressure gauges wrong value
Carriers issues fixed:
steam does not appear when carrier crew inserted manually
teleport to deck not available if time sync disabled
teleport to deck inaccuracy
native wires too weak to stop aircraft in time: enable Catapult and Arrestors feature but without Fake tailhook, compatible with any aircraft carrier which has native wires installed
aircraft pitch up during catapult launch
New features:

So main changes are - teleport to the deck script added which find exact location of the ship by WASM instead of simple prediction used before. If it works well, we will be able to add support for other 3rd party carriers, not only ours.
Сustom arresting wires - if aircraft has no tailhook you can enable fake one and perform arrival like usually - WASM script will calculate tailhook collision with the wires and animate them if catch happen. But this system works only if custom wires placed on the aircraft carrier, unlike the old one - worked anywhere.
And optical landing landing system indication right in the panel window, it appears from the distance of 10 kilometers or less.
Some pilots have reported about conflict of the CarrierControls panel with newly released Comanche 250 by A2A
Nature of the issue still unknown, but as a quick workaround additional check added to the catapult script so Comanche will no longer cause such an issue. Fix added to Ka10M v2.7.1 which available on SimMarket and our website, Marketplace version will be updated next week (3.08.2023).

This update is awesome! Tailhook is super cool. Only request is if possible, can you add a darker background to the ols? Its quite hard to see. Also love the copters taking off and landing!
just out of curiosity, is the ka10 considered finished, and the current & forseeable updates address the ships?
i get theres people who enjoy the naval assets, theyre irrelevant to me- if the helo is considered finished, its safe to say i can opt out of further updates?
There was literally a fix for the helicopter in this last update.
Failures and native coaxial rotor simulation are planned, as major updates.
Also minor fixes applied from time to time (like in the last update). You may check release notes - if Ka10 not mentioned there - you can skip it.
Good to know there’s more planned for the helo itself!
Ould we add a tacan to the carriers on xbox?
Yes and no. Currently TACAN beacon can be attached to the runway only, that actually done for Istanbul carrier (33X).
But such does not work for moving carriers. May be if related sim variables will be settable so I can simulate TACAN signals by custom code, but they are not.

I’m having problems with the Ka-10 in moderate elevations.
I have zero problem starting and flyint the aircraft from sea level but at 3500ft from FVFA I can’t get the engine to reach 80% RPM I’ve tried mixture in very different ways but still no lift.
Any way to fix this?
Hello. I’ve tried to gain altitude from 1000ft to 5000ft with no significant changes of engine RPM, which appear only at 10000ft mark.
What was the weather conditions? High temperature and low pressure may cause something like that.
Are there any more updates in the works for the carriers? Still a few things that would be awesome to see, along with another few locations!
Yes, several updates planned. First, some fixes and improvements (like teleportation, smoother pushback etc.).
Second, we plan to make new crew with much better, realistic animation. However it requires resources and time while we are busy with other projects and Ka10 update, so not sure when you will see it.
