Velocity One Yoke - Skicky Issue / Binding Issue - Turtle Beach VelocityOne

Hey, not seen any product out there for the internals tbh, I did a lot of research to try to resolve the issue, and tried another product which didn’t really work for me, hence this product we sell:

@SDizzy sounds like it might be the same issue I had. I fixed it with a hose clamp and some zip ties and some metal spacers: My short review of the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flight Yoke - #7 by darkmark327

thanks all for your responses. I’m going to try your fix as it looks like the most promising option I have. Turtle beach offers non. Meanwhile, flying FS 2024with a Velocity one flight stick isn’t so bad.

Thank you for the order, will get it packed tonight and out to courier tomorrow

I’ve just put an order in to you at 5:35pm
Looks like a great product.

Thank you, got it! Will get it sent out tomorrow morning, you’ll prob receive Tuesday, or Wednesday the latest.

I also have the same issues with bindings ( I am using a Series X console) - I went through and found a very helpful youtube video from Huddison ( FS2024: Velocity One Flight Yoke Bindings (Gold Edition) | With Some Advanced Autopilot Bindings! That helped greatly in binding the controls, I had to reseat the pedals cable in the back of the throttle quadrant to get the brakes to work but that only worked from the main screen of MSFS 2024.

Today however, the pedals are now non-responsive and still show the blue Xbox connection light being on - the rudders work but the brakes do not and all troubleshooting of unplugging, reseating, restarting the sim have failed to resolve the issue.

Not sure if the latest update to the SU 2 Beta somehow has something to do with it but I hope that it fixes itself at this point as I am exhausted of spending more time troubleshooting than flying.

This is a known problem. Usually a console reboot along with deactivating/reactivating the pedals in the yoke menus fixes it. But it may take a few tries.

There is a firmware update for the pedals (v1.2?) that improves it, but I’ve still had it happen once since updating.

I did do the firmware update but it was to 1.0.1 for the pedals, but I will continue with the rebooting, and deactivating and activating lol, I have to laugh as it works with a different profile I was messing with but I will likely just delete all my profiles and then try again to see if that makes a change as well. I am feeling like I will soon be working in IT for this stuff lol

I don’t think deleting the profiles will help. The problem appears to be within the pedals and yoke. I’ve never had to change my profile to get it working again.

I agree it didn’t make a change to the brakes either. I am just going to wait it out for a update from TurtleBeach and Microsoft/Asobo on this one, it worked great before the latest Beta 2 update when the bindings started to really act up on me again.

I reached out to Turtle Beach and was told the following - As you mentioned the brakes not working after the beta update, this is an issue with the update itself. MSFS2024 was released with many bug and issues which they are still trying to fix. I recommend not using the beta update channel and stay with the official released updates to prevent the hardware for not being detected or having input issues. I will also report this via our developers to theirs, but it might take some time until they will fix this issue.

Meh, I don’t know if I buy that. I’ve had problems with the brakes not working all the way back to MSFS 2020. It’s nothing new.
