Seems like everything I try to do in this game I hit a wall, Love my new paper weight CJ4. aka I too am having the bug…
I have this issue as well.
And still not resolved after update 1.2.8.0.
Yup same thing, between this and Tropical Storm class winds on every mission, did they test any of this prior to launching? These seem like obvious issues to me.
Is it reproduceable? LMAO, ummm yeah try the game out, you’ll see for yourself.
I’m not to the point of buying my own planes yet, but are you all that are being affected only looking at the icons on the map?
I recall in another thread someone mentioning having issues finding flights and a possible work around. If you go into the search function in the career map and type in an airport code, it will show every mission available at that airport. If you only look at the map, the airports will only indicate one mission icon at a time, but doing a specific search for that and airport could show multiple missions not visible on the map. It’s a bit more labor intensive to find things this way, but was shown to give users more mission options.
I suggest giving that a shot if you haven’t yet, to see if any CJ4 missions are hidden in there. That would indicate if it’s a bug regarding mission generation or a problem in presenting them due to the lack of filtering (which is already on the wishlist).
If there are no jobs in the circle/bubble around your plane you can manually unlock near by regions by zooming into the airports and fast travelling to them. Costs like 600 credits to move one bit over, or a couple thousand to move to an adjacent state. Of course you’ll have to pay to transfer the plane if you accept a mission there so look as near by as you can.
But this thread is about the CJ4, and I’ve read no jobs will spawn anywhere on earth for it.
I noticed a few VIP missions around Taiwan and Korea before yesterdays patch.
Today they were all gone.
I think the patch somehow made things worse.
Jobs move around.
Fast travel to near by cities to unlock a larger area.
No mission for me too, so sad.
Same, kinda infuriating, spent time learning the CJ4 in free flight, bought it in career, now I can’t use it. Just fantastic.
Bought a passenger version of the PC-12. No missions. Thanks microsoft for forcing release of something the devs aren’t ready to release. Gives Asobo an undeserved bad rep.
Still no solution? This is really poor
Devs are all on holiday.
ya and when you see Indy games getting several patches over the holidays it’s even more shocking this should of been fixed weeks ago

I think I have found the solution.
The missions do not appear because you must have rank A when selecting the mission and it is not sufficient to have achieved it at least once.

Nope. No King air either. You would think almost two months in would be some.
