Hello
It seems it’s a tough question, based on what I’ve found on the forums. I don’t own a TIR5, so I don’t have the issue. I’ve searched if someone had a solution (or even the same problem), and yes there is, kind of, here. Unfortunately, @baltGreg received very few support, probably because this is an edge case.
If you’re willing to try what I would try in this situation, here it is. That’s kind of the last things I would try, and this may have impact on your game (like : loosing all your current bindings and affectations), so look at it like what it is.
The directory
On my computer, I know that some of the files are related to “MSFS hardware configuration”; it’s a directory where I made modifications so that my Tobii works better with the help of fellows users
Here on my computer, this directory is : C:\Users\cowreth\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs\000901F1FB117B20_000000000000000000000000604CC91B
mind the username in the directory, “cowreth” is my username, I doubt you’ll have the same on your computer
Emptying the directory
What I’d do is that I would empty this directory by moving ( and not deleting) everything, just to see how the sim will behave without these files.
There’s a chance you loose your bindings / key afectations. I don’t know how much of it MSFS stores in the cloud. It’s okay, since you have not deleted the directories.
Going further
If you’re a bit techy, you can open the folders one by one and try to find which one is related to your Tobii. I’ve done that in VSCode, opening everything and make a broad search for “Tobii”. Then you could remove the folder(s) that are related to Tobii. But that can be long and tedious.
Getting back
If the test does not work, I’d redo the “empty the directory” process, and move back in the folders saved before, hoping that everything will get back on track.
I really hope someone here has a better solution for you, but in case no one does, I’d try this.
Good luck, fellow captain !
K.
