Backup rig is doing a yeoman’s job of running 2020. It’s quite liberating to be running a very lean system and installation - this is Active Sky of course, you couldn’t get this effect with stock, plus the old reliable JT-A.

Flew the HondaJet from Syracuse (KSYR) to Boston Logan (KBOS) using BeyondATC:
Syracuse guys really need to trim the grass on their aprons better…
The HondaJet definitely has a fuel burn issue, used more than 150% of what Simbrief calculated. Luckily I was expecting it and packed a lot of extra fuel. Oh and BATC had a plane taking off at 04R while I had clearance to land 22L (same runway).
I really enjoyed the flight, I’m having a second love with the HondaJet at the moment, despite all its problems in FS24.

Is there a business jet fuel burn issue with a few of these? PC24 for another.
Had a bit of a break but carrying on my European tour. Zagreb Airport (LDZA) to Ljubljana Airport (LJLJ) done.
Next up is a trip to Innsbruck! Really looking forward to that one.

On the not-so-common, left hand circuit for runway 28 at St-Barth. If runway 28 in use, everyone prefer the right hand circuits. I’m not everyone

Today was the final day of Simventure 2025, a massive multiplayer event that simulates the real-world mass arrival into the Oshkosh Airshow, and uses the real life Oshkosh air traffic controllers. I’m hoping to do it for real in a few days, my first time flying in.
Check out how good these controllers are when the pilot in front of me got all turned around. Tower wrangled them back in super cool like:

Followed the old Ecuadorian rail line from Salinas to Guayaquil in three legs, using a different aircraft in each.

2020, Got lots of helo practice with the redone control settings. Problem was, and still is, I could not get passed the area of Miami near Biscayne Park Airport w/o the sim locking up, sound still going, but nothing else. I wound up splicing two sessions together. Early evening flight around Miami.
I found nothing, unless I did not link any mods, pay or free, Sheesh!
At any rate, I just stayed away from the ‘mini Bermuda Triangle’ and kept my fingers crossed. BTW, flying with the first Miami Vice soundtrack filled the flight… Thanks, YouTube…
