Accidentally deleted a spad.next profile… wanted to edit but clicked delete… now I’ll have to do it from stock again this is gonna cost me a weekend
long-haul flight… once landed and exit (main menu), flight is not recorded in the logbook… and Flight hours stays the same…!
I have done the same thing. That is why I now use a good, reliable and self tested backup system so I will never lose self deleted files again. As a plus, I can restore the entire disk in about 23 minutes or my MSFS system in about 10 minutes.
Not being able to fly AT ALL for 2 weeks due to borked usb controller configurations. See Axis state bar in controller options is not changing when moving the axis on the controller - #24 by gweilo8888 - Hardware - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums
Not having enough time to fly
I agree… Not Enough Time to Fly is an issue with us all at times.
After a few hours on the sim it just seems like minutes… sometime, I just need all afternoon.
¿What´s wrong with AI traffic?
Yesterday I crossed the pond from Europe to St Maarten in the A310. Today I used the Cirrus SR22 for the short hop from St Marteen to St Barths for some fun landing challenges in RWY 10 there.
And look what was there, holding short of the 650 m runway:
Yes, an Eurowings A320 NEO waiting for take-off, ready for a nine hour flight back to Europe…
Man, maybe it is wrong, but gotta admit it: FS2020 has great humour sense when it comes to AI Traffic! (I wish we could say the same about the broken ATC).
Later I took off from St Barths to Saba´s 400m runway (what a wonderful little corner of the world this is, what fantastic three airports to enjoy), hoping to find an A380 there, but no luck this time…
All the stuttering and lagging after the latest update.
Microstutters that cannot be tuned out with graphics settings, and really low LOD draw distances (melted blobs until right on top of scenery items with default Ultra settings).
The biggest annoyance should be and always been: SERVERS PROBLEM. More people buy this game, more servers overload, MSFS/Asobo hush down the problem and not investing into server upgrades. SO the same area that could be stable 60 fps is unflyable and at 20fps. THis comes around in weekends or whenver Asobo/MICROSOFT doing work with their servers. IT will be only worse, truly becomes a PART TIME GAME
Stutters, stutters and stutters …
The poor graphics bug on Xbox. It’s turning me off flying a bit until it is fixed.
it is much better now in the beta. (as of yesterday)…so big improvements are coming in that regard.
I’ll have to boot up my “Beta” disk and check out the latest update…
Thanks for info…
When I switch from speakers to headphones only the menu sounds work and I have to completely restart the sim to get all the sounds. This doesn’t always happen. Seems intermittent.
All aircraft in flight cannot be controlled with the joystick. Continual changes in all directions. No scenery problems. Help, please!
ATC. The only fundamental (i.e. essential for this type of game) part of the game that truly fails to work in one way or another every single time. Weather, photogrammetry, etc can be improved but is fine. ATC is a huge anchor, certainly not a centerpiece to be admired
thank you for that opinion. I have not used ATC as much as I should have but will get on it right away.
The few times I did use it, I was not that happy because it left me hanging so often. I will try and let it work for me and see it the accuracy and timing has improved.
In general my biggest annoyance with MSFS in general are topics in the forum that actively ask and invite people to generate and spread even more negativity …
In my opinion it’s enough that even the most positive and light-hearted of topics has a good chance of being turned around 180°.
