65 is too young to be getting senile. 
I swear I’d found the data for the landing light when I was working on this days ago, but couldn’t get the Alpha switch to control it. Tried again today after deleting all in-sim light controls from everything (keyboard, mouse, Alpha, Bravo.)
Simple switch assigment in SPAD using ‘SIMCONNECT: Light Landing’ works like a charm.
