Asobo… Fix it. Now.
Live weather -Flew A320 FBW Vecc to Hear fl 340 initially. Started off innocently enough. Left it to climb out , came back 15 minutes later and it leveled out at fl240 with a fuel burn of 8000kgs per hour max spd 240ias throttle maxed out. ISA +61c. W T F . Turbines taking in raw fuel as no air to feed them. Changed out of live and problem disappeared
Fix tomorrow.

Did Asobo confirm they’re fixing it tomorrow?
Yes. In the dev blog post that comes each Thursday. Patch comes tomorrow at 8am PDT and will fix the altitude issue affecting VATSIM.

My only concern/confusion about the “fix” for high altitude temperatures allegedly being addressed by a client-side hotfix patch is that the issue first started last week, before SU5 was released. It affected SU4, which (before last week), had no issues with extreme high temperatures at altitude.
This would seem to indicate that the problem is on the Live Weather server end, not the desktop.
Perhaps they made a change in the Live Weather data for temperature in anticipation of SU5 (which SU4 could not interpret correctly), and forgot to include the new temperature decode algorithm in the initial release of SU5?
