Can’t help you with the CTD (probably should be in the CTD section) :slightly_frowning_face:
w.r.t. the GameInput Service: Any Updates - particularly XBox-related available in the MS-Store Library available (Click Updates to find out)?

With the last update 1.37.8 the sim opens up in Windowed mode. This may be because it is freezing on exit. On exit I press yes and the sim freezes and stays on the screen. Have to do a hard reset.

I can’t even open the Sim anymore with today’s mini update for WU16! It gets stuck at checking for update, I let it run for 20 minute or so, and nothing! Got out of SU15, still doesn’t run!

I’m having the same issue as well. I believe it’s because it tries to do an update check and puts itself in windowed mode. I have to manually press alt + enter to go back to full screen.

I agree. For some reason it is going to the update screen but doesn’t do anything there except switch to windowed mode.

Perhaps the issue in this thread is related to Checking for updates" take about 5 min and will be resolved once server-side fix is implemented.

I am opening in windowed mode too with the 1.37.8.0 update. Alt-Enter goes full screen
