I notice that with just a few things installed, the splash screen showing the X-Cub with the mountain in the background takes ages to get past
Performance pretty bad still even with stuff installed

I didnāt noticed any performance improvement on my testing while I got the addons instaled, not even the aircraft (A320v2). I saw the really bad textures when going from outside view back to inside.
I uninstalled the add-ons, re-streamed, and flew the same flights again. Not a single CTD.
Now I have reinstaled some addons (A320, the Zinertech enhanced graphics and some liveries). Letās see if the CTDs come back.
This is interesting for me as I had the space to go select all and then download my whole library of base game and add-ons and Iām seeing massive performance increase better LOD all round smoother frame rates had a f16 at 500ft at mach 1.2 and it kept up with it which it didnāt before
Same testing procedures as last beta just with everything downloaded that we can so far
Xbox series x
Pg on
Live traffic and weather
Mp all
GB Fibre hardwired connection
32gb rolling cache
Nzch to nzwl or nzwf generally are my test flight routes too
Las vegas performance wise I could fly out of in a a330 no stutters which couldnāt before and less blobs of pg
CYKA -CYVR
flight plan
CYKA - KEBRA departure
CYVR - CANUC5 arrival, 08R via VINLO
Aircraft: BlackSquare B60T Duke (MSFS2020)
ATC window works much better than SU3, can request flight plan without having to go through flight following (much better than SU2). Instructed to flight direct to FL250 and cruised until 80nm from CANUC5 when instructed to decent and maintain 3000 at approach transition, around 100nm in distance. Pretty much left to my own decent and performance except one call out to remain below 250kts. The ATC sounds and performs better than SU2 and provides enough distance to descend but without any other descent instructions - that will need some work.
Performance
XBOX X, honeycomb Alpha, Bravo, keyboard, mouse, Xbox controller, rolling cache (128Gb)
All scenery and aircraft streamed.
LOD for the ground textures wasnāt great when viewed from apron. Textures were blurry-ish at around 2-3 miles. Airport vehicle still looked like they were built with LEGO blocks.
No tiling when at start flight screen, which gave me some confidence that things would work out ok.
Some jitter/lag on taxi to departure runway and the same thing once airborne and transitioning to drone view.
Above 10,000 drone mode was pretty smooth.
The external aircraft lighting looks great, honestly (asterism on lights is very nicely done).
Weather and clouds were great and the sunset looked legit.
Final thoughts
Noticeable differences between SU2/SU3.
ATC was better in some respects (the menu selections worked much better and could always be selected) but was worse in others (ATC didnāt really Control the descent, though it did provide plenty of time to get down, unlike my experiences with SU2)
Not much in the way of static aircraft at CYKA but that is to be expected at the time I departed, but at least no oddball generic aircraft.
Weather worked well as I was descending to my transition fix when the audio crackled twice and then CTD. Bummer. Was excited to see what was going to be on the ground at CYVR but it didnāt happen on my first run with SU3.
On the plus side, it loaded quite quickly after the CTD (gotta find a silver lining someplace, haha!)
Noticeably different and except for the CTD, it was better than SU2, overall.
I had to do a clean install of MSFS after downloading all content on the series x, I couldnāt get back into career after downloading the content, had 2 days straight server issues
I tried a short flight in the A20N this morning. Flying from EGGW (Inibuilds), to EGPH (Pyreegue).
Live Traffic Off
Live Weather On
Multiplayer On
Taxi and takeoff at a misty Luton was reasonably smooth with a few small stutters every so often. Cruise was nice and smooth, and detail on the ground was much better and sharper than SU2.
Approach into EGPH was smooth, apart from a single 1sec freeze at the 100ft call out.
Performance is much better than SU2, but would be spot on, if the stutters and freezes on approach could be fixed. I also didnāt touch the EFB during the flight, as I get CTDs if I go into the charts.
Yeah thatās happening to me. If I try accessing the charts in flight I get a ctd
Iām sure it will be fixed in the next build
Series X, Thrustmaster Hotas 1, keyboard, mouse, Wolverine v3 ctrllr, all wired, 1Gb wired.
Downloaded PMDG 777300er, 787, pushback pro (2020), + other planes not yet tested. Downloaded nothing else
787 lacks Simbrief support and no performance data in EFB (no bueno x2) so created fplan from MKJP - KORD in EFB - ground setup went well. Used ATC to load aircraft (per EFB option), did not see or know where to look for progress info - some kind of notification would be nice (progress bar, 5 - 10 - 90%, Complete callouts would be nice). Pushback automagically stopped me pointed the right way with no inputs. Taxi was non stop stutter to hold short. Takeoff nominal since i didnt set it up right but from takeoff to midway Jamaica- Cuba stutters continued. Wasnt going to tolerate that esp into KORD so aborted.
777 + Pushback Pro (2020) MKJP - (Gulf coast) 1 - everything went well until I setup Pushback Pro and pushed back - no response from aircraft after that - aborted - Aerosoft to fix
777 + in Sim ground services - everything went well until ready to taxi. Running engines did not respond to throttle even though levers moved on screen and lever position indicator on MFD moved - I assume PMDG is fixingā¦
Im not sure if its me or not but I downloaded and installed the A330 but performance was still very stuttery. Are people getting better performance when aircraft are downloaded?.
nop. I see no difference having the aircraft instaled or streamed.
Did the same flight as last night (CYKA - CYVR), the same flight plan, all conditions and configs the same, except the scenery and aircraft were downloaded and installed.
Using the BlackSquare B60T (MSFS2020) and CYVR airport and Vancouver scenery (MSFS2020).
LOD textures were much better but took a while to get settled in. LOD all the way to cruise we sharp and smooth. No lag when transitioning to and from drone mode and the gauges had high resolution every time I returned to the cockpit (much better!!).
Weather was great. ATC still has the same arrival descent issues but still much better than SU2.
Arrival textures we crisp and smooth and there was noticeable lag. Aircraft on the ground were all recognizable as real aircraft and had their registration ID, but only one airline had an actual livery - United. Being Vancouver, it would be great to see Air Canada and WestJet, but United is a good start, I guess.
A few things could be tidied up. The approach in Garmin was different than EFD, but I changed the procedure in the GPS early enough to not make a difference to the flight. A little laggy on the main screen but overall pretty satisfied with the flight.
