Pretty much the same as previous su3 betas which in my case is good performance except the frame time spike seen during asset loading when landing. If this was improved I’d say performance was great.
Note I don’t use photogrammetry and have a completely empty community folder and exe.xml. AI at Medium but otherwise Ultra settings. TLOD 300.
Same here. Nothing has changed to the FPS loss on landings. Really annoying what on every Update happens..
Lots of bugs not getting solved but other bugs appear. And nothing else changed.
I use “First Solo Flight” training to get as representative a situation as possible.
The difference between 1.4.20 and the beta version 1.5.10 that I tested is significant. In the stable version 1.4.20, I got 203fps, at 97%gpu with FG and DLSS. In the beta I seem to have a severe CPU bottleneck. With identically the same settings I suddenly only get 154fps, at 71%gpu usage. And this in the exact same training, at the same time when I am standing still on the runway. Configuration of the cessna is also identical.
It did not succeed in making the GPU work harder… Switching to DLAA and higher resolution still gave the exact same frame rate with a slightly higher GPU percentage. I then deleted the cache and deleted the user.cfg, then used the same settings again as in the stable version. The fps and low GPU load was still unchanged.
Despite looking like a CPU bottleneck, the CPU percentage and wattage was unchanged. Only RAM and VRAM usage had gone down a bit in the beta.
Afterwards, I immediately reverted back to stable version 1.4.20 and I had the exact same high fps again. Tried again by downloading the beta, and now again the same low frame rate and GPU usage…

Is use a 360Hz Oled panel. Gsync compatible with vsync enbabled in NVCP and disabled in-game. Even when VRR is off and using fixed refresh rate in NVCP, the same issue persisted.
I made sure no other framecap was active in both versions.
