For me, nothing much has changed in performance over the last few releases.
For my sternest benchmark test (TBM930 in Queenstown), I’m still getting the low twenties (plus stutters) which is really not acceptable, but the PC-24 achieves 30 to 40fps and just occasional stutters. The difference is surprising as the two planes are comparable in terms of instruments/screens and controls - perhaps it is due to the over-engineered, unrealistic propeller shadows and the inaccurate windscreen reflections of the ground in the TBM. [Edit: And the excessive exhaust effects in the TBM in VR.]

Great VR performance again, even slightly better than .18. ATC has caused some stuttering before, but now it didn’t. Thanks Asobo! SU4 will really be a gamechanger, so much better than SU3 I flied some my “normal” test flights and tonight was actually the first time that I really felt like I was being insinde the plane, because there were no stutters at all

VR is better for me in .19. Everything is crisper/clear and smooth.

MS/Asobo you HAVE to find solution. Please !

VR performance generally good, not great. Washed out scenery carries over from 2D so disappointing for sightseeing.

This version is even better than the last, which was good as far as smoothness and panning within the cockpit. Asobo are going in the right direction with whatever they are working on. Excellent VR experience with a Quest 3, Virtual Desktop, i5 7600k (clocked to 4.8mhz), Evga 1080ti SC+.
Getting a solid 72fps with spacewarp enabled (36fps actual) and a very enjoyable experience.

I’m wondering if the ground textures have been improved in this version. It feels like the terrain, especially from cruise altitude, looks a lot more detailed and crisp — I can see more cliffs and definition in the mountains, for example. On the other hand, it seems I’ve lost about 10–12 FPS. Previously, I had plenty of headroom with the frame rate locked at 45 FPS, but now it sometimes drops below 40, even down to around 36 when flying low and near the cloud base.
Could anyone confirm or refute my observation?

Anyone else getting the Device Hung error message on Nvidia? GPU is 5090. not overclocked or anything.

Most likely a driver issue. If you have recently updated the driver all nVidia caches should be cleaned out and start afresh. Also I think it a good idea to reset the rolling cache in the sim.

You can also get this if error (0x887a006) if you run out of virtual memory. You’ll see Events 26 & 2004 in the Windows System log and 1000 in the Application log if this is the case.

I’ve had this a few times. For me, it seems to be connected to my use of the Afterburner GPU manager.
I get the message before reaching the main menu. My solution is to start the sim, and only start Afterburner once I’ve reached the World Map. Might be worth a try if you are using Afterburner even without overclocking.

Have flown quite a few flights in VR now. The performance is very close to perfect for me now. I have great graphics and 99% stutterfree smoothness.
Only thing I dont like is the right eye not rendering the night sky proper. Cant fly like this at night.
Other than that, please dont mess with the performance / graphics anymore.

I feel like performance has regressed a bit since the last one or two builds in .19.
Especially handcrafted airports and PG areas really seem to cause disproportionate slowdown and stutters compared to before. Running great in rural areas though.
