The point still stands. Why? Because a lot of these mistakes in beta STILL end up being in the release branch. If it was just a beta thing, then by all means it is what it is. But many of these bugs, like 2020, appear in the beta and then end up in the release branch for multiple updates if they ever get fixed at all.
