Since the update, I constantly get a message displayed in the box at the bottom telling me which key combination I can use to leave the aircraft.
Same here. And I have overlay instruments in normal cockpit view that looks like they might optionally belong to the external view instead. Don’t know how/where to turn them off.
Same for me. Also for me, the notification disappears when the aircraft is in motion. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,

It’s not constant.
As soon as plane moves, it disappears.

Please tell me this is a weird bug and not a design decision… having it constantly there in walkaround is bad enough, but even in cockpit?
Atleast let people toggle it off for both cases.
Guys, Guys …
Shift + C exit Aircraft
Extremely maddening. People have been asking to remove it from walkaround mode, instead they add another one in cockpit view. Is this a joke?
I agree that they should remove it entirely. They should provide an option to have it on or off like everything else (i.e. POIs, etc.). In fact even the way top panel UI works is bad, that should also be moved to a corner or something or be provided with a keypad binding. It really prevents clicking on gauges or things in that area which is annoying.
Does it get rid of the spurious cockpit HUD display? Preflight in a 777 takes at least 5 - 10 minutes if you’re rushing and can take 20 - 30 if you use GSX to simulate loading. Do I really have to look at that stuff inside my flight deck the whole time? Will it come back if I hit ESC again?
