I hope this is a joke… and it’s a very bad one at that. Please do not force us a single day to see this nonsense. Add an option to remove this straight away!
There is - there’s a toggle there in my second screenshot. It’s set to Off. But the HUD display is there anyway for some random reason.
Yeah, I agree. Hope it’s just an unintended bug. Annoying and pointless.
Get a reply on AVSIM forum. The Shift+C message disapeared as soon as your aircraft moves… but re-appeared when halt.
how to fix it ? no way ?
that doesn’t really make it better tbh
Separate report created for the HUD issue: [1.6.21.0 Regression] Internal/External HUD issues
At least it does go away when a/c is moving
How does this sort of thing get past Alpha testing…?
how Is It possible they didnt seen that before making the new beta out?
I wonder if they thought that was a good idea.
I think we can all agree, that it isn’t.
Please add the option to remove this as well as in the walkaround, extremely annoying already in the walkaround but I don’t know who even thought of adding it to the cockpit now - absolutely awful ![]()
We know what binds we set
We don’t need a window reminder with them to be displayed 24/7
If it weren’t so sad, one could laugh about it.
I can’t believe, we get spammed with all these label. The Toolbar is annoying enough.
Please remove “Shift + C” ASAP from screen.
So now we have [Shift-C to Exit Aircraft] plastered in front of our face while flying - whether 2D or VR? This is either a case of a completely ridiculous “feature” being added (I can only hope that is not the case) or it’s a case of completely incompetent (ie nonexistent) testing before this new version was released to the masses - on a Friday! We all understand it’s a beta, so we should expect some bugs, but this one is simply inexcusable - even if this were an alpha release. Perhaps Asobo just wants to give all of us some incentive to leave the beta and to stop bothering them with reported bugs LOL. Or perhaps this is a new “feature” to help the upcoming PS5 users…
On 2020 aircraft where Shift-C isn’t set up (like the A2A Comanche) the words ‘exit aircraft’ appear in the cockpit! Without the key setting, of course. Useless by definition.
Does that mean this is a new “feature” added to the sim? ![]()
if only this was only useless message now plagueing the flights.
Are you implying some of us would actually WANT that message plastered on our screen every time our aircraft is not moving? I fly in VR and I can’t think of anything more immersion breaking. This feels like an arcade game “feature”.
