Not playable in VR. The World Scale seems completely maxed out / off in the PImax Super. Everything seems way too zoomed in, whether in the VR cockpit or in the External view. Tried adjusting the World Scale slider down to 80% but it does not seem to be working.

I’ve got a strange one and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong as no one else seems to have reported this.

My mouse no longer works in VR. I cannot take control with the mouse from the VR controllers. I have tried two different mice with the same result. The right mouse button works and will zoom as it used to. However moving the mouse does nothing. I’ve tried this on both the Fenix and PMDG 777 so it’s not aircraft specific either. I’ve looked around in the mouse VR config and can’t find anything that might be causing it.

It works ok in 2D.

Any ideas anyone please.

same here. Mouse is not working and therefore VR is unusable for me at the moment.

Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone. I’m presently rolling back to SU3 as like you say VR is unusable in SU4 beta.

Quality of textures at the cockpit have been reduced a lot with the new foveated render option at quest 3. When I look up the cockpit roof is full of strange textures. Even my copilot seems like have a kind of skin disease. I can see much more artifacts even using DLSS 310.4.1 and preset K forced with Nvidia profile inspector. Had 4 CTD using the replay. Even in 2D. Still having stutters and now lower fps than SU3.

Ryzen 7, 32gb, RTX3070ti laptop, quest 3

Mouse is an issue cannot use, and also have a flickering screen on world map.

Yeah same here, have to enter VR mode when past the initial button as there is no way to press it from within VR. After that you can use VR controllers to interact with the cockpit and menus. Once for some reason my VR controllers turned off during flight and the mouse cursor suddenly returned.

So maybe there’s a way to disable the VR controllers to make the mouse work again, haven’t tried that yet.

I use VR through virtual desktop and deactivating “tracking controller” in the streaming setting, have me the mouse back.

So yes, letting SU4 believe you have no controller will force the mouse to come alive in VR.

In Virtual Desktop, uncheck track controllers. The cursor will be visible and mouse will work

That is what is supposed to happen with FR. It reduces the resolution around the periphery reducing GPU load.

VR performance is much improved and the Foveted Rendering scale is a great addition to tweak performance either further.

I’m sorry to say but that is not what supposed to happen. When you turn your head the FR should review where you are looking to and increase quality in that region. It is not happening. Maybe Asobo made a change for the headsets that have eye tracking what is no the case of the quest 3. Every part that is not the central part of the cookpit looks really bad in this case.

it is not Asobo fault that your headset does not have eye tracking .
