1 Search and Rescue Mission Generating On The Entire Planet

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

I now own a total of twelve H125 Helicopters in the Search and Rescue/Hoist configuration and they are spread around the globe. The quantity of the search and rescue missions is minimal compared to the other mission sets. However, randomly I will see the quantity of missions grow exponentially, and then after flying one or two of those missions, they mostly vanish and I am left with only seven missions across the globe. There seems to be a stability issue with the number of missions being generated for the H125 Search and Rescue and H125 Search and Rescue Hoist

My community folder is empty and I am not using the Dev Mode.

The image below is a screenshot taken in mid December. The number of helicopter search and rescue missions was at least 13 in this one general area. Within minutes of these missions becoming visible, they vanished. Since December, the Helicopter SAR Missions seem to lack quantity globally. The random increase in the number of missions is completely random

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Search and rescue missions are not available as they should. When I first unlocked helicopter SAR missions, there were lots of missions available in the Alps. After a playing a few, the just disappeared.

Now there are only two missions available, one in Canada (CSK4?) and one in Australia (Geehy landing ground). Playing as employee. After completion, they come back the next day.
All the other ones, in the Alps for instance, are just not there. No airplane SAR missions available at all.

• missions pop back occasionally. Yesterday evening the Alps were full of search and rescue missions everywhere. At around midnight, they all vanished before my eyes, while scrolling around on the map.

I see some helicopter SAR missions but no airplane ones at all. Frustrating!

I haven’t been seeing them disappear like that in several days. My solution was to spend 3.5M Cr. to Fast Travel around multiple continents which opened up about a dozen more H125 SAR Missions and a few additional H125 SAR Hoist Missions. There is still instability when it comes to the consistency of the mission densities in areas such as the alps specifically. One day there are close to 20 and the next day there are 6.

BUMP ha ha see what i did there i referenced another heli bug the bouncing around bug… but yes i have had the Search and rescue hoist missions open from lvl 12 and I am now lvl 230, this is by far my most favorite mission BUT when you can not find a single person to rescue on the entire planet its a joke. i want to mainly do this mission and always look for them, i have done a few but its now dried up i have 3 helis positioned around the world, 1 in Australia 1 in Japan and one in NY, as this is where i found the 1st few missions but they have not respawned again… i am hesitant to purchase any more Hoist Helis and there is another bug in itself, when buying a H125 with hoist on the last screen the description is H125 NO HOIST but it still comes with hoist luckily. talking about more bugs was intrested on how many missions i have done so i went to profile/statistics/Number of career missions completed. Reads 0… wow some grind eh LVL 230 and not 1 mission completed. i could go on about more bugs but i only have the normal life span of the avarege human so i will stop there

There has been a change for me. Before, there were always two SAR-missons that regenerated reliably, one in Canada and one in Australia. Now they are gone as well, since a week or so. I do have four airplane-SAR missions though, and one heli-hoist. But the regular heli-SAR in the Alps only populate one day of the week, then disappears entirely.

These mission generation issues are the most serious problem in Career mode – which is really saying something.

It seems there is no end in sight. I really hope it is discussed in the next dev stream, because right now there’s no indication that the devs are aware of how serious and widespread the problem is. It is a problem that has been around since launch, and it is extremely concerning that it seems even worse since SU1 (as indicated by the post above).

With a lot of my personal testing, it appears that their mission build system is entirely AI generated. Unfortunately, I think as we’ve been finding out in the rotary wing side of things, and as dynamic as those missions are and how the world is configured. Their AI mission generation creates super buggy helo missions. And they probably have to audit their mission creation algorithm to fix it. Which is probably not an easy task. Rather than have SME’s test mission parameters prior to the missions going out. So it’s why you have missions where certain people spawn in areas for missions that may look fine to the AI parameters, but you can’t get a helicopter to due to terrain, trees, or both. It’s like this with cargo hook missions, SAR, and Ag missions. The only ones really that aren’t particularly affected are sight seeing and passenger transport. Those have their own bugs. But the other mission sets are largely bugged due to the mission creation AI being less than optimal. Which is also likely why we don’t have firefighting at all for rotary wing stuff, even though we were shown it and promised it.

this is so sad my play experience in this game on a daily baisis runs like this. log into msfs2024 enter career mode and search for freelance hoist rescue missions. IF i find any i do them (usualy 1 or 2) back out to main menu and maybe do a Challange league or 2 run or maybe look for ostriges in world photographer…

All i realy want to do is the rescue missions where i use to spend hours and hours in this game a night i am reduced to 30-40 mins if i find a rescue mission

Truely under the impression helis are a afterthought for this game

I log in every day to see if there are any SAR hoist missions in career mode.
sometimes i find 1 or 2 so i do them and then ither log off or leave career mode to do something else
in the past 2 days not 1 SAR hoist mission has appeared i have hundreds of cargo missions, hundreds of skydive missions, a few fire missions, a few agricultural missions what dose the AI do? detect what you play the most and remove those missions?. shouldent it detect what you enjoy doing or what you have the most aircraft dotted around the globe and then generate the missions acording to what companies and aircraft you have. i have 1 skydive and 1 cargo plane and hundreds of missions around the globe, i have 15 SAR hoist helicopters around the globe and not 1 mission.
