Clarification: This only applies to add-ons that have actually stopped working for the last 3 months. It doesn’t matter whether these are officially marked as “Compatible” or “Incompatible”, we will check them manually.

Further clarification… It appears, also, to mostly focus on broken liveries.

Good, i’m tired of browsing through hundreds of abandoned mods.

As well as this:

“While only a very small fraction of add-ons are currently affected (< 1%), we still want all add-ons offered by Flightsim.to to work properly, so that users no longer have to worry about compatibility anymore.”

This is an action due to some creators being lazy and having not updated the compatibility status on the site. Not due to “1000s of mods being incompatible after SU5”.

Moved to #third-party-addon-discussion:tools-utilities to encompass all possibilities of mods (airport, aircraft, liveries, utilities, etc).

This is perfectly normal and nothing special for MSFS, just good to clear out outdated mods.

Yeah there’s a lot on the move ! addons are handled differently, the Export changed with the new SDK.

I expect a lot of downloads to return soon… liveries may need a rework, but (moving) scenery is just a matter of recompile and click Export and you’ve a new zip file. Only when the modder abandones his product completely, things are removed. For a lot of static scenery, a replacement is not even needed.

I’m a hobby mod, I love recent stuff like e.g. here…

I’ve just downloaded this one,

… it got updated and certified for SU-5, it sais so… Windy Things is not a simple animation, it needs to read wind direction. SU5 changed that. Windy was updated this week :slight_smile: great work.

btw if you have flightsim.to addons and you want to find if there are updates, you won’t need to go search for it, there’s a list on the site, My Downloads you can keep track of updates…
