My 2060 driver got updated today which seems to have caused sim crashes.
Display freezes but sound keeps playing, only way out is to quit the process.
I’ve done a driver rollback and will have to retest.
Anyone else?

Did you try a full system restart?
MSFS on SU11 Beta did not terminate for me either on the first hours but after properly shutting down the system it’s doing well since. - I’m also on the RTX20 generation.

Yes twice.
I have the exactly same issue. My last 6 flights end with the sim freezing. But i did the NVDIA update two days ago. And it is only yesterday this issue happen. My sim became freeze with any kind of plane, PMDG, Fenix at any point of the flight like climb, cruise or descent, the sound keep working but the sim are freeze. So i am just unable to fly.
I had that many times after hitting the FLY NOW button.
Rolling back the nvidia driver to the previous safe version solved it.

Yes, the last 5 flights have frozen during the climb or cruise after the driver update. Let’s hope there will be a fix soon
I have 2070 RTX, it does not freeze or crash for me, is it a particular occasion it happens?
Have you tried to ALT+Tab out and then ALT+Tab in again?
It freezes the sim and nothing helps.

I have the same issue with the latest Nvidia driver 522.25. Trying to roll back driver. Never had any issues with Nvidia drivers before. RTX 2070.
i7 3770K, GA-Z68XP-UD3, 32GB DDR3 1600mzh, RTX 2070, (4) 1TB SSDs and not having this issue with 522.25 drivers
I rolled back to 517.48 and no more sim freeze. I also got less stutters and better FPS.
yup. new driver update 522.25 is the issue. 3 freezes since I installed that. 1 today and 2 yesterday. I reverted back to the previous driver and completed a flight finally with no issues or freezing.
Performance was fine with the new driver if anyone was wondering but with it freezing the sim during cruise of all places I recommend to hold off if you were thinking of downloading it
Yes same for me three flights and boom freeze.
Delete the current NVIDIA driver and rollback to the last one resolved the issue ! Pilote date: 21/09/2022. Pilote version 31.0.15.1748
Took me minute to figure out how to roll back myself. The GeForce App doesnt let you buy you can do it from the Nvidia website if anyone is stuck like how I was on how to get rid of the new driver update

I just did it via hardware in the control panel and used the rod back function as below.

Same issue for me with new Nvidia driver. Reverted back to previous driver and all is well again.
Freezing with sound was happening using Hondajet, WT CJ4, and PMDG 737.

Never had this freeze before.
Also I did run all windows update first. Win10
I hade the same issue (with RTX 2080 and new 3090) but only with DX11. I solved it by deactivating HAGS in Windows 11!
