1hz stutter caused by photogrammetry and TLOD

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: specific symptom observed: a clean, repeating ~1 Hz main-thread stutter, visible mainly from the cockpit camera, whose severity scales with Terrain LOD (TLOD) and collapses dramatically when photogrammetry is enabled.
No mods used, a/c in use default A320, scenery in use default EGLL.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Variable - Depends on LOD setting, photogrammetry density particularly

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load at stand 233 facing east at Inibuilds EGLL, photogrammetry off, TLOD 150+

  2. Cockpit view - turn photogrammetry on - observe graphics queue spikes, 1hz main thread stutter

  3. Lower TLOD in stages - observe amplitude of graphics queue spike diminish

  4. Switch to dronecam view - observe no graphics queue spikes, or 1hz main thread stutter

  5. Switch back to cockpit view - observe graphics queue spikes and stutter

  6. Turn photogrammetry off - observe stutter disappear

Dev-mode doesn’t report 1% and 0.1% fps lows associated with graphics queue spikes. This data, derived from other sources, can be created and available as supplementary information, if requested.

YOUR SETTINGS

If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the User Support Hub.

What peripherals are you using:

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it? devmode for frame metric only

[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use? RTX5090

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share? AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5

MEDIA

TLOD 300 OLOD 200 Photogrammetry ON

TLOD 300 OLOD 200 Photogrammetry OFF

I anticipated the lowered fps with photogrammetry, that’s not in question. The issue is the frame-time spikes and consequent stutters that ruin the sims fluidity on a very frequent repetitive cycle.
