2024 Career Cargo $ by weight carried?

Wondering if anyone knows or can assist those of us who are learning as we go (we all are I guess as there is little in transparency here) how exactly cargo missions work with larger aircraft.

Currently have light and medium cargo unlocked. Own a number of 172’s for passive income and 2 caravans at the moment for medium cargo.

I’m looking at the next aircraft I might want to purchase and noticed that they have the stats of how much cargo each aircraft can carry listed in the purchase screen… caravan 3,500 lbs for instance (not sure if thats correct, just an example) and pc-12 4,500 lbs etc…

I’m wondering if owning a pc-12 that can carry 1,000 lbs more or another aircraft that can carry triple that will net me more $ somehow.

Are the medium missions dependent on just having an aircraft that can carry the medium mission amount, or does it scale if you have a larger aircraft.

Seems unnecessary to purchase another more expansive to maintain aircraft like the saab or pc-24 for instance if it doesn’t give me any benefits in this area.

I’m hoping that if I purchase an aircraft that can carry 3x the amount of the caravan that I can net 3x or something more than the standard medium mission amount. Guessing this would be unlocked and become available when I purchase the aircraft, showing missions that now reward 200k or more etc..

Same question for passenger missions… do I net more when buying an aircraft that seats more?

I hope that makes sense and I hope someone can enlighten me.

Definitely not… I thought the same way and invested in buying all kinds of larger planes to maximize income from cargo missions and even with PC24 the missions pay the same and maintenance is more expensive. The only good thing is that they have faster cruising speed and you complete the missions in a few minutes less but from there the profit for me continued to be the same and it is very bad because it is supposed that for the amount of cargo you get paid more… I hope I have clarified your doubt. Greetings.

Man, that’s disappointing.

If you prefer to fly cargo and passengers with medium sized ga’s and twins the game is over pretty quickly.

I assumed that the cargo missions would scale with how many passengers you could carry or how many lbs of cargo. Why wouldn’t it would be my assumption.

I’ve already learned it doesn’t make sense to buy anything other than the Guimbal or 172 for passive income as every other aircraft has a worse passive income to purchase price ration. Sucks to hear its the same with the career portion for players.

It seems that once you get the 208, there isn’t much point to buy anything larger.

They definatley need to fix this. Why would I work harder to purchase and maintian a sky courier or king air when I would have to then work twice as hard to maintina them.
