No livery selection from what I have seen. I have only bought cessnas so far and they have all been plain white.
Getting the IFR certification is what causes the wind and turbulence to go overboard. I ended up restarting my career for several reasons and on my second time I am simply skipping IFR certification until I hear it is better.
It would not make sense for you to select a livery, because you are a contractor flying whatever livery your employer uses.

It’s because it turns on live weather for certain missions and if you’re flying in the northern hemisphere, November/December are the two worst months for flying small aircraft. I moved my operations to the southern hemisphere and it’s been much better.

When I bought the first Cessna it was some awful puke-green colour.
Pre-flight in the hangar it shows one of the company liveries from employee missions.
In missions themselves it’s just plain white.
Plain white with your company name painted on in white. Item #4703 that screams, “rushed out the door before it was ready”.

This. Kinda sucks flying light aircraft in boreal regions this time of year in the real world. I used to run into this issue using FSE and the combination of live weather. You have to know how to avoid it, one option of which is to go farther south, inclusive of the equatorial and austral regions.
If this product had launched in May, we’d be hearing the same from (a far fewer amount of) folks who live in the southern hemisphere.
That they launched the product this time of year, shot us into live weather, in small aircraft, with zero direction and really buggy in-sim tools is facepalm-inducing.
Oof. There was a real bad IRL accident in Houston recently for this very thing: Flightseeing mission, hit a tower. On another note, the VFR landmarks and obstructions are one of my favorite adds to FS2024. They’re really, really nicely done. Stacks where they should be. Even the NEXRAD radar dome was rendered at the National Weather Service forecast office.
Oh baby, Omaha approach is going to love that, busting the Class Charlie off the approach end of the active. Gonna be a nice letter in the mail.

The 1000’ AGL flight seeing/first flight mission demands, often rounded down to the nearest 100 MSL is the most dangerous concept I’ve seen in a beginner mode of a flying simulation in a long time. That’s before we get into the various airspace incursions (and the penalties you do amass when you’re doing things right!).
Whoever designed this obviously didn’t take the advice of any real pilots.
Make the mission goal 2000’ AGL, always rounded up to the nearest 100 MSL and you’ll almost always avoid obstructions (not necessarily terrain, though) and be above legal minimum safe altitudes. Not that’ll it’ll be perfect, but it’ll be a better start.

I’ve come to the conclusion that being concerned about ‘Reputation’ is pointless.
The actual credit contribution due to reputation is trifling, even at higher level.
From now on I’ll be embracing harder missions, screw up more often and get better as a consequence.
I think Microsoft came to the same conclusion before they released this game.

Does anyone know why always when i start a mission passanger transport with 737 Max mission always instant failed because of leaving parking position!! but i do not move anything!! its a bug?
I think better weather tools on the world map would go a long way to reducing some of these complaints. If you can easily see before you accept a mission that the current weather is not suitable for the aircraft you have, you can not accept the mission and look for a different one.

I agree 100%. To know at least wind direction/velocity it’s very important both for expert and new pilots.
Absolutely. I’ve always used real-world tools, and to be honest, the in-sim ones need to be closer to providing something along those lines, accurately. I know that’s a tall lift, and it’s going to require education alongside it, but I don’t see how being forced to deal with live weather in all phases of flight can be met in any other way.
The alternatives are nerfing the weather (including “clear skies”) or coming up with an AI tool that can accurately give a big picture of the hazards. It tries to do the latter, but comes up extremely short as hazards aren’t simply the categorical conditions (VFR/MVFR/IFR/LIFR) at the arrival or destination airport (many of which don’t have an observation station, anyway). They go way beyond that.
But we’re currently stuck on square one, anyway - what is it even giving us? Does it even know?

Yep! You’ll get there!
Cheers and best!

You might have figured this out already, but there is a keybind you can set for “Add Fuel Quantity” You can add 25% fuel with this at any point for no penalty. Since the game isn’t functioning correctly, I’ll just use this once before flight.
Starting to think Microsoft should have just bought NEOFLY for 2024’s Career mode.
It’s bittersweet and a bit tough to accept 2024 isn’t a far superior career experience.

I’m giving up on career mode, too many bugs, unrealistic flight model, I’ll wait for updates.
I paid for the IFR certification, it took my 10000 credits, but I CTD every time I try to start it up.
