2024 - DHC-2 Beaver trim needles bug

the elevator and rudder trim needles aren’t displayed correctly

Can confirm I experience the same issue as OP on every flight with the Beaver. No mods installed, not in developer mode.

Can confirm too. The beaver was a very good plane in 2020, but now with this bug and the gns530/430 bug, its not playable for me.

Experiencing the incorrect rotation axis of the trim indicator too.

Same issue as OP described.

The trim needles rotate around the wrong axis, i.e. instead of the indicator needle turning clockwise as intended, it angles around its long axis making proper use and reading of the trim setting almost impossible.

Can confirm. The indicators rotate along the long axis of the needle itself instead of around the needle’s support. Makes it difficult, if not impossible, to tell from inside the cockpit how the trim is set.

fixed in the latest SU2 beta update, among a lot of others things crippling this plane

Can confirm this is fixed on 1.4.14.0 though I expect this should remain an active bug report until SU2 goes live as who knows what could revert/regress before final release.
