[2024] Incorrect Aviator Performance Strike When Helicopter Lands on Designated Helipad

Description of the issue:
Received an aviator performance strike for “undesignated landing area” when landing on the helipad directed to in the mission parameters.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
No mods, empty community folder. issue still persists

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
This has happened on two helicopter missions. Flightseeing in the Cabri G2 and the turbine certification in the H125

I was just about to report this as well. I think the issue is that the landing is registered when you descend below a certain height over the ground and if you’re not exactly above the helipad by then you get penalized. They want us to position the helicopter directly (and well) above the helipad and then lower the helicopter which isn’t really they way to do it

Yep, I think that’s the issue.
I think that It comes from an improvement when you land an helicopter on a runway, now you don’t need to touch the ground for the ATC to realize you are there, like in 2020. But It forces these extremely steep landings on helipads.
