2024 Marketplace prioritization needed

Remember when the input queue to 2020 was very long. It was starting to get to be 2 months or more before an update would show up in the Marketplace or Content Center. Then they put in a prioritization of planes then airport then scenery then others. That worked well.

Before the 2024 Marketplace launched, IniBuilds launched their A350. Jorg said the Marketplace would be delayed after the A350 launch, but it would be only days and the A350 would be in the Marketplace.

Well, here we are now, several weeks after launch. There have been numerous Monday and Thursday batches. But no A350. No IniBuilds airports for 2024.

New things ARE coming into the 2024 Marketplace. But it seems like products released after the Marketplace went live. It seems like new products get priority, and then the backlog queue taken in order. So what we are getting is lots of night lighting packages, hot air balloons flying, birds, real trees, vfr object packages, etc. We aren’t getting any of the airplanes for 2024 that launched before the Marketplace did. We aren’t getting any of the airports. This backlog should be undergoing the same prioritization of categories that was setup for when 2020 had a backlog. How many customers want a new night lighting or update to their night lighting package over their plane they purchased for $50 or more but still don’t have an update for, or want to purchase?

I get that anything new, you want to get it in the Marketplace and not add to the backlog. Thats fine. But the backlog needs to be prioritized. There are hundreds of night lighting packages. They were pretty easy to get updates to and get in the queue quick. But should they be taking up slots that other more widely purchased products could use?

I’m in full agreement here.

I’m beyond irritated by this process (my patience, here isn’t the issue, I have that in spades). I cannot understand why MS feels they do not need to give us any insight into what is going on with the 2024 Marketplace in terms of upgrade availability.

Example, the Just Flight F28 upgrade just hit the 2020 Marketplace today, but is absent from the 2024 Marketplace.

Every single third party aircraft that has seen upgrades since 2024 launched have those upgrades available in the 2020 Marketplace. 2024, however, has none of them (edit: let me state FSReborn’s aircraft are the exception) and the upgrades, in most cases, are specifically for 2024.

What is going on here?
