Description of the Issue:
I am experiencing a major issue in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 where the simulator consistently freezes after completing a flight and clicking the “End Flight” button at the gate of the destination airport. This freeze forces me to close the simulator manually via the task manager every time, making it impossible to continue using the game smoothly. This is a critical issue that heavily impacts usability and needs urgent attention.
Additional Observations:
Long Loading Times:
Loading the world takes an excessively long time, even on high-performance hardware.
Graphical Problems:
The world often appears blurry or low-resolution (“mushy”), particularly during approach phases at destination airports.
Performance Drops During Approach:
Approaching the destination airport results in significant stuttering and reduced graphical fidelity.
Limited Customization Options:
It is currently not possible to create custom aircraft liveries, which limits creativity and personalization for users.
Reproduction Steps for the Freezing Issue:
Complete a flight and taxi to the gate at the destination airport.
Click “End Flight.”
Observe that the simulator freezes entirely, requiring manual termination via task manager.
Expected Behavior:
The simulator should smoothly return to the world map after clicking “End Flight,” without freezing or requiring manual intervention.
Actual Behavior:
The simulator freezes entirely and must be forcibly closed, interrupting the gameplay experience.
Request for Resolution:
I kindly request that the development team prioritize this issue, as it makes the simulator practically unusable for regular flights. Please provide any updates or workarounds as soon as possible.

Very frustrating
Same here, Freezes after I press end flight. Mouse cursor still moving on the screen. Music still playing. Keyboard inputs not working and mouseclicks doing nothing.
